ERGT Australia | Feb 19, 2018
Last week ERGT provided a practical learning environment for our third National Energy Technician Training Scheme (NETTS) and Energy Apprenticeships Group (EAG) apprentice. NETTS is a collaboration between major oil and gas organisations and Programmed, working together to build a skilled workforce for the future.
Our latest NETTS apprentice, Amber is a 2nd year Mechanical Fitter for Shell. Amber spent the week shadowing our trainers and getting involved in a number of courses including Emergency Response Skills Maintenance, Helicopter Landing Officer and Working Safely at Heights.
We hope the time Amber has spent at ERGT gave her a thorough understanding of safety and training culture and approaches in the Oil & Gas industry. She was a pleasure to host and we wish her all the best for her exciting career.
