ERGT Australia’s (RTO 2534) Provide Advanced Resuscitation (PAR) course covers the skills and knowledge required to competently and confidently use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
This course is designed for workers who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of complex situations, include community and workplace settings.

The expected learning outcomes for this Nationally Recognised Training unit are:

- Perform advanced resuscitation
- Communicate details of the incident
- Evaluate the incident and own performance
TRAINING STANDARD PRE-REQUISITES There are no training standard pre-requisites for this course.
ERGT REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE There are no prior skills and knowledge required for this course.
MEDICAL & HEALTH STANDARDS A medical certificate is not required for this course; however a health questionnaire and declaration of fitness will be required at course registration.

SKILLS MAINTENANCE In alignment with industry expectations and to ensure ongoing competence and capability, ERGT recommends skills maintenance be conducted every 2 years.
